Okay, can I have a recap?

It is 615 AD and you live in the Kingdom of Asaema. Asaema is a large kingdom with several varieties of people. Asaema was once a beautiful and flourishing kingdom but is now facing poverty. Most buildings are beat down or boarded up and the streets are filled with filth. There's crime everywhere and it isn't umcommon to find what was left of the riches stolen or gone. This all happened because of a war long ago, between the elves and mages and humans. One thing led to another, and soon everybody left the once striving Asaema. Each kind turned against each other and it started an uprising. The kingdom was destroyed. But now, 150 years later, people are beginning to return and escape other kingdoms to ours, because now the surrounding kingdoms are facing the issues Asaema once did. Conflicts and tension is still remaining, but can everyone learn to get along and save Asaema?

A women and her husband are unable to have children and because of that they choose to help other children, give them a home and think of them as their own.

They choose the best children from the best orphanages in Miami, because of this there is constant conflict between the children. Not only the children are fighting but the parents are too, they are arguing over their lack of money. They had once been rich but now they are slowly loosing money due to the mother's mental illness and having to pay for her treatment. She has Schizophrenia, causing her to lose touch with reality, often in the form of hallucinations, delusions and extremely disordered thinking and behavior. She some times spazzes out or lashes out her family, sometimes it gets dangerous. All these children go to Broad River Institute, the best school in Miami and the father is struggling holding everything together and paying off bills.

Mother- (taken) Mother is mentally ill, hallucinates and lashes out at children. Some times forgets who they are. I am role-playing as her.

So, I could really use some ideas on making my own role plays. I know that I want it to be fantasy but it can't be over board, I also know that there has to be room for character development. It would be nice as a small group but very fun and creative. Everyone should be able to make their own character backgrounds. I want it to take place on a different planet for sure but not with orcs or elves, as stated earlier. I would really appreciate some ideas, leave any cool ones in the comment section! Thank you!

I would just not prefer any magic involved, it would however be cool to be an alternate universe but I don't know how to make that realistic and not involve any sort of different race or magic of some sort. Si-fi would also be very interesting, I was thinking along the lines of futuristic, along the lines of laser guns, hover boards, etc, etc.

Scientists notice the sun is going to explode and engulf the world far sooner than they had expected. They have to think of a quick plan to save everyone. One scientist notices a large dark purple planet that looks habitable and quickly tells several important scientists. They soon send out a ship of scientists to go investigate the planet and say they are going to Mars without telling anyone but a few important people. You are one of the 10 scientists who get to go investigate Pliuq (Pl-eek) and possibly inhabit it. The ride there is enduring, you will start the story there, and discover the new, possibly dangerous planet with 9 other scientists you've never spoken to before. All you know is that this mission has to be successful for the human race to survive. Pliuq is 3 times farther away than Pluto and the only way to get there quickly and efficiently is by using the newest and fastest technology scientists have made.

I walk into the blacksmiths work area, lost and confused, I've never been here before. "Hello?" I say. I notice you just were finishing a sword and observe it for a little while, smiling because I have always wanted to learn how to do that but I was just a regular citizen before. I had just returned from walking in a field of the damned, covered in sweat from running as far and as fast as I could. "Who are you?" I say, a little bent over trying to catch my breath then I stand up and move a piece of hair behind my ear.

IC: I leave my house with a fresh layer of makeup and a large black coffee. I slowly make my way to the town park taking the occasional sip of my coffee, slowly letting my energy regenerate. I find a tree to sit under and I lean against it. I wonder what I should do today... I think to myself. I finish my coffee and watch a small crowd of people pass by.

OOC: What does your character look like?

IC: I notice a woman who's skirt made a light brushing sound and I felt something was odd about her. I continued to observe her as she walked past then stood up slowly, brushing leaves off of my dark purple dress that fell just above my knees and hung lightly over my shoulder, I followed her. I knew that I stood out plenty but I wasn't really trying to hide, I was simply curious. I haven't had a good look at her face yet, I just followed the sound of steps and fabric being dragged across the ground. I struggled to stay at speed with her but my sandals were loud and you could hear their *flip-flip-flop* sound. You're not human, I can sense it.

IC: I stand there shocked a little by her sudden approach and I lift my nose up a little higher than hers to show confidence and smile warmly, "Hello Victoria, no we haven't met. My name is Angelica." I take your hand an shake it firmly. "I am having a fairly boring morning and you just seemed..." I pause for a moment, "different." I smile knowingly and fix my dress. I fix my large hazel eyes to your sharp amber eyes as I sweep all my hair over my left shoulder, making my neck feel a little cooler, and pull my black cloak over my dark purple dress.
